- The meeting began with Pam Hoffman answering questions from the attendees. She first explained the regulations that apply when submitting for prior authorization from Medicate.
- April 24, 2009
- Greg Gruman, C.P lead a brainstorming meeting on Medicaid information from Pam Hoffman's input and new changes. We discussed first about coding for CROW walker and what was the proper coding. Next issue was Therapeutic Shoes wand what is covered and what was not.
- September 26, 2008
- Jake also reported that WSOPP's Wisconsin Parity Bill was not assigned a bill number as planned in 9/2008 due to a lack of support form the state committee. We can re-attempt to have a bill number issued after the November 2008 elections. If everything goes well, a bill number could be issued as early as 1/2009. Until a bill number is issued, all facility parity packets will be held and Town Hall meetings will also take place after the bill number is issued. The Town Hall meetings will be held at non - O&P facilities and will be open to the public and media to help gain support for the Parity Bill.
- April 25, 2008
- The licensure committee has completed a second draft of the proposed Licensure Bill. This was distributed to all members present, followed by a brief discussion. Tom Current, acting Licensure Chairman stated that continued work is being done to begin to analyze the fees involved in producing and carrying the bill, along with analyzing proposed practitioner fees for licensure. Tom indicated that the licensure committee is in need of additional volunteers to analyze the remaining data. The next Licensure committee meeting will be on May 12, 2008.
- October 5, 2007
- The meeting was called to order at 3:00 PM by President Jake Wood. Jake announced the results of the 2008 election of officers. Results are: President, Dennis Janisse; CPed, V. President, Dennis Farrell, CP; Secretary, Mick Batton, CO; Treasurer, Jim Sajdak, CPed; Director (3 years), Andrea Pavlik, CO. The original ballots will be held for one year at the law office of attorney Raoul Ehr.
